These terms cover your use of nxswstudio.com. The site presents NXSW's commercial AI film and hybrid VFX work and lets you send an inquiry. NXSW, "we," and "our" mean the studio that operates this site. "You" means the person or company using it.
The site and an inquiry
You may browse the site and send an inquiry for a lawful project. Sending an inquiry does not hire us, reserve a date, or set a price. Production work starts only when we agree to it in a separate writing.
The site does not use accounts. You do not need to register to read it or to send an inquiry.
You may not:
- Break the law with the site, or send an inquiry that is unlawful, threatening, or abusive.
- Try to break into the site, its hosting, or its analytics.
- Disrupt the site, or scrape it with bots in a way that loads it unreasonably.
- Send spam through the inquiry form, or try to bypass the bot check.
What you send
You keep ownership of the text you put in an inquiry. You give us permission to use that text to read it, reply, and keep an internal record of it. That permission is not a license to publish your inquiry or to use it in our advertising.
Our material and other people's material
The site's design, copy, logo, and capabilities deck belong to NXSW or its licensors. You may not copy them for your own commercial site or resell them without our written permission.
The filmography shows posters and titles as credits. Those films, stills, and posters belong to their owners. The showreel is embedded from YouTube and remains subject to YouTube's terms. Nothing on the filmography page transfers those rights to you or claims that NXSW owns the underlying films.
The site is offered as is
We work to keep the site available and the information on it fair, and we do not promise that it will always be up, error-free, or fit for a particular use. To the extent the law allows, NXSW is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost data arising from your use of the site or from a third-party service embedded in it, including YouTube, Cloudflare, Google Fonts, and Telegram.
Your responsibility
If a claim is brought against us because of how you used the site, the contents of an inquiry you sent, or your breach of these terms, you will cover the resulting damages and reasonable legal costs, to the extent the law allows.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute about the site has to be heard in court, the state and federal courts located in California may hear it.
Changes
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the date above. Using the site after that update means you accept the new terms. Terms for a production job are whatever we sign for that job, and they control if they conflict with this page.
